By accessing and using the NaijaHomes website and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform. NaijaHomes reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

2. User Eligibility

To use NaijaHomes, you must be:

• Able to enter into legally binding contracts
• Not prohibited by Nigerian law or international sanctions

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

When you create a NaijaHomes account, you are responsible for:

• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access

You agree not to create accounts under false pretenses, use someone else's account, or impersonate any person or entity.

4. Property Listings and Content

Property Owners and Agents: You warrant that all information you provide about properties is accurate, current, and complete. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of listing descriptions, prices, images, and availability. NaijaHomes does not guarantee the accuracy of user-provided content.

Prohibited Content: You may not post listings containing false information, misleading descriptions, offensive content, copyrighted material without permission, or content violating any laws. NaijaHomes reserves the right to remove such content and suspend offending accounts.

5. Payment and Transactions

By purchasing services on NaijaHomes (such as contacting sellers or accessing premium features):

• You authorize us to charge your selected payment method
• You agree that all charges are final and non-refundable except where required by law
• You are responsible for all taxes related to your purchases
• You acknowledge that NaijaHomes acts as a platform facilitating transactions between parties

NaijaHomes does not handle direct property sales or rentals. All transactions are between users. We facilitate connections only.

6. Limitation of Liability

NaijaHomes is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NaijaHomes shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits
• Disputes between users
• Accuracy of property information provided by users
• Third-party actions or services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the previous 12 months.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on NaijaHomes, including logos, design, text, and software, is owned by or licensed to NaijaHomes and protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our written permission.

By uploading content to NaijaHomes, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content for platform operations.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Engage in harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
• Hack, disrupt, or interfere with platform security
• Scrape or collect data without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Use the platform for illegal activities or scams
• Violate others' privacy or intellectual property rights

9. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between users or regarding transactions:

1. Parties are encouraged to resolve disputes directly
2. If unresolved, either party may contact NaijaHomes for mediation
3. All disputes shall be governed by Nigerian law
4. Any legal action shall be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria

10. Account Suspension and Termination

NaijaHomes may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform immediately ceases, though you remain liable for obligations incurred.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NaijaHomes, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms or your use of the Platform.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms. For significant changes, we recommend reviewing this page regularly.
